Phillip Reid


Bio
Phil was a California High School State Champion in both cross country and the 1600m in a time of 4:08 running for Rio Mesa (Oxnard). In college, Phil ran for the Mustangs of Cal Poly, SLO where he earned Division I NCAA All American Cross Country honors twice and 4 individual Big West Championship titles (2 in XC and 2 in the 1500m outdoor track). Post-collegiately, Phil has been a loyal HOKA Aggie for over a decade. He was a finisher in the 2016 US Olympic Trials Marathon, represented Team USA at the NACAC Cross Country Champs and BUPA Great Edinburgh Run, and a finalist in Men's 5,000m at USATF Outdoors in 2011 and 2018. Phil is also a regular on the PA/USATF Road and XC circuits in Northern California.
Phil lives in San Luis Obispo CA with his wife Krista and their son Calvin. He teaches and coaches cross country at a local high school on the Central Coast of CA.
